Tuition - How to Pay

IELP Application Fee — $100
Please include the $100 IELP Application Fee together with your Application Materials. The application fee can be paid by credit card (Visa/MasterCard), US$ money order, bank or cashier's check in US$, or travelers check in US$.

IELP New Student Placement Test Fee — $20
All new students must take an IELP language placement test.
Advanced registration is required. To register, please contact the IELP Office, located in East Hall (EH), room 122.

Bring your $20 test fee (cash, check, or money order) and photo ID (or passport) to the test site on test day.

IELP Tuition & Fees
IELP tuition & fees are paid during the first week of the term, after students have registered for classes.

Cash, cashier's check, travelers check, bank checks, money orders, and Visa/MasterCard are accepted.

Students have 4 options for paying Tuition & Fees:

  1. In Person: Visit the PSU Cashier's window in Neuberger Hall (NH) lobby.
  2. Online: Pay by Visa/MasterCard using the PSU Information System
    1) Visit the PSU Information System
    2) Log in using your student ID and PIN
    3) Click on "Student Services and Financial Aid"
    4) Click on "Student Records"
    5) Click on "Credit Card Payment"
    6) Follow on-screen prompts
  3. Drop Box: During the first 2 weeks of the term, pay by check, money order, Visa/MasterCard using the "Drop-Box" in the lobby of Neuberger Hall (NH). Along with your payment, be sure to provide credit card number, expiration date, card-holder signature, student name and PSU ID number, and daytime phone.

  4. U.S. Mail: Pay by check or money order (provide student name and PSU ID number) or Visa/MasterCard (provide credit card number, expiration date, card-holder signature, student name and PSU ID number, and daytime phone) to:

Payment Policy
Portland State University policies require payment of tuition and fees by the designated due date. Students who cannot meet fee payment deadlines may elect the Revolving Charge Account Plan.

Students are financially responsible for all classes for which they are registered on or after the first day of the quarter.
