Application Due Date

The IELP accepts applications throughout the year. You can apply anytime.

If you live outside the U.S., we recommend that you apply 2-3 months before the start of the term you wish to enter, so as to allow enough time for the entire application and student visa process.

The application due date for Summer 2008 is May 19, 2008.
The application due date for Fall 2008 is August 24, 2008.

For international students who are already in the US and who wish to transfer from another school to PSU's IELP, the application deadline for transfer students is two (2) weeks before the placement test date of the new term.

U.S. residents and other international applicants who do not need an F-1 or J-1 visa: we recommend that you apply two (2) weeks before the start of the term that you wish to enter.

Please plan to arrive at least one week before the start of the term.

All new IELP students must take the placement test, register, and attend classes during the first week of the term.

Late arriving students who miss the placement exam, registration day or the first week of classes may not be able to attend classes until the next term.
