The friendly instructors and staff of PSU's Intensive English Language Program (IELP) are available to help students with:

• Language learning & academic goals
  
• Cultural adjustment
  
• Questions regarding daily life & cultural matters
  
• Exploration of personal life goals
  
• Understanding IELP and PSU University policies and regulations
  
• Understanding US immigration regulations, procedures and visa requirements
  
• Information about and referral to University resources and services

The IELP instructors and staff are very kind and friendly and have many years experience helping international students. Most IELP faculty and staff have traveled or lived abroad themselves and know first hand what it is like to learn a second language and study abroad.

Advising for new students
All new IELP students are required to attend the IELP New Student Orientation at the beginning of each term.

Advising for students admitted to PSU
International students who have been admitted or "conditionally" admitted to PSU should visit or contact the following offices to receive additional information about advising resources:
